Henry’s father, C. Walter Summer, started the company in 1954. When he died in 1973, Henry took over the company. Henry earned an Associate of Science from Newberry College in Accounting and a JD degree from the University of South Carolina in 1976. He also served in the military for two years. He added investments to his business in 1987, received his CFP® designation in 1989, and has continued his education ever since.

Henry runs the company and also meets with clients to provide tax planning services, legal services, and financial services. He holds numerous securities and insurance licenses. He is also a member of the National Association of Tax Professionals and the South Carolina Bar Association.
